The book A Competition for Clean Air:The Air Pollution Regulation of the United States in the 20th Century from the Perspective of Environmental-Political History is part of the Young Scholars’ Research Project undertaken by Liu Xiangyang with sponsorship of the China National Social Science Foundation.Liu is an associate professor of Hebei Normal University,and the book has been duly shortlisted into the Explorations in Environmental History(环境史探索) series edited by Professor Mei Xueqin(梅雪芹) of Tsinghua University.
