陶铸是我党一位非常有个性的高级领导干部,连毛泽东都称他是“党内一头牛”。战争年代,陶铸以中共湖北省工委副书记兼宣传部长的身份创办汤池训练班,为党培训了大批干部;和平年代,陶铸以中南局第一书记的身份领导湖北人民进行了社会主义建设。开办汤池训练班培养抗日骨干1933年,陶铸在上海中共中央机关工作。同年5月,他被国民党当局逮捕并被判处无期徒刑。1937年,国共再次合作。经周恩来、董必武和叶剑英
