家校合作就是指对学生最具影响的两个社会机构——家庭和学校形成合力对学生进行教育,使学校在教育学生时能得到更多地来自家庭方面的支持,而家长在教育子女时也能得到更多地来自学校方面的指导。显然,家校合作一方面是要使家庭教育和学校教育保持一致,形成合力,最终促使青少年儿童在德、智、体、美、劳等多方面的素质及个性得到良好发展,身心健康成长;另一方面,通过家校合作,提高教师、家长的教育素质和能力,促进学校管理水平的提高,强化教育机构的自我管理,推进教育社会化和社会教育化的进程。小学阶段是学生思维、自我意识、同伴关系得到飞速发展的阶段,在小学阶段加强家校合作意义重大。
