A systematic study of the prevalence of meteorological factors on rice powdery mildew was conducted from 1989 to 1992. The results showed that the optimal temperature range for winter spore germination was 18 ~ 32 ℃ and the optimum temperature for germination was 26 ~ 28 ℃.
