据新华社电研究人员16日在新一期《美国医学会杂志》上报告说,尽管中国人的平均盐摄入量自2000年以来不断下降,但仍远高于世界卫生组织推荐的最大盐摄入量。中国国家食品安全风险评估中心技术总师吴永宁介绍,中国自1990年以来先后开展了5次总膳食研究调查,前4次覆盖12个省份,代表中国人口的46%,第5次总膳食研究从2009年开始到2013年结束,覆盖21个省,代表中国人口的近80%。
