According to the recent research conducted by CEO&CIO IN INFORMATION TIMES, nearly 89 percent of China' s CIOs don' t think they have played the real role of CIO in their companies. They are not taken as senior managers and have little chances to involve in decision-making. They are squeezed among CEO, CFO and other business sectors, mediator seems to be their real title. And for most of them, this position means the end of their career.In this turbulent world, China' s CIOs are slow in reacting, books and internet are two major ways for them to interact with outside. The lack experience in animated interpersonal communion is another disadvantage. After solving outside and inside problems, China' s CIOs may have a bright future.
