本文提出应用脉冲间隔和脉冲宽度调制码(PIWM code)的新型光缆通讯系统。PIWM 码由脉冲宽度和脉冲间隔组合而成。那么,不难理解这种码的传输容量比脉冲宽度调制或不同的脉冲位置调制码的传输容量大。在 PIWM 系统中,码长取决于输入信号。而,且由于这种码本身包含有同步信号,所以不用考虑同步信号。PIWM 码能够包含有关编码的几种功能,如:节省能量,准确还原信号源信号,检测误差和多路传输。文中还介绍 PIWM 码以及用来增加传输容量的四值组合码的应用。
This paper proposes a new fiber optic cable communication system using pulse spacing and pulse width modulation code (PIWM code). The PIWM code consists of a combination of pulse width and pulse interval. Then, it is not hard to understand that the transmission capacity of this code is larger than the transmission capacity of pulse width modulation or different pulse position modulation codes. In PIWM systems, the code length depends on the input signal. And, since this code itself contains the synchronization signal, the synchronization signal need not be considered. The PIWM code can contain several functions related to coding, such as saving energy, accurately restoring source signals, detecting errors and multiplexing. The article also describes the PIWM code and the four-value combination code used to increase the transmission capacity.
