向来被文学界视为“逆流”的鸳鸯蝴蝶派,其电影创作却频频被搬上银幕。在其文学失去轰动效应并逐渐边缘化的文化背景下,鸳鸯蝴蝶派文人的电影创作却引起如此巨大的反响,从传播学的角度看离不开文学创作本身的魅力,以及媒介的运作和受众的选择与满足。丈章从传播者、媒体、受众三个方面分析了鸳鸯蝴蝶派的电影创作浪潮,理性地指出其对当时代大众文化语境中的电影文学创作的借鉴意义。
