From January to February 2009, the passenger car market started to pick up with the promotion of a number of national economic policies and sales of 1.1279 million units, an increase of 5.81% over the same period of previous year. Among them, ≤1.6L passenger vehicles, which benefited from the favorable policies, showed a rapid growth (up 18.78% YoY), higher than the passenger car industry by 13% and driving the overall growth of passenger vehicles to be higher than that of automobiles (1.55636 million units sold, a slight increase of 2.70% over the same period of last year); but the auto market has not fully recovered due to
