我国是一个多民族国家,少数民族文献古籍是祖国宝贵文化遗产的一部分。然而由于历史和现实的原因,少数民族文献古籍也和汉族文献古籍一样毁损严重,濒临灭失和消亡。抢救保护、整理出版少数民族文献古籍,已成为一项刻不容缓的紧迫工作。保护它们就是保护一个民族的文化之根,延续一个民族的文化命脉,抢救一个民族的文化记忆。
