OBJECTIVE: To establish a method for determining the content of sulphate and compare the content of sulphans in different regions. Methods: The phenol-sulfuric acid colorimetric method was used to determine the content of the glucan at 488 nm. Results: The content of wolfberry produced in Hebei is high. Conclusion: This method can be used as a quality control method for glucans.
