通过研究分析第四版《中图法》分类标引中加“0”问题 ,认为它是层累制等级列举式分类法在复分时填补“断层”现象的措施 ;加“0”的数量应当等于或小于类目狭义复分的次数 ;尽管存在加“0”、“0 0”、“0 0 0”的多种形式 ,但是归纳起来 ,加“0”主要是“转换复分”与“跨越复分”两种基本规则。对于某些典型不妥当的加“0”现象 ,也进行了分析、纠正。
