Materials and Methods The authors selected 477 teeth after periapical periodontal surgery and followed for at least 1 year. 35 cases of incomplete healing (an average of 4 years after surgery) were observed again and followed up 8 to 12 years later. When reviewing again, 11 patients were unsuccessful because of various reasons. The other 24 patients were followed up for a long time. The average observation period was 9.5 years. Results and Discussion The results of clinical investigation showed that 24 cases had no clinical symptoms.
