本课题从都市报产生的背景出发,从市场经济发展和城市化进程加剧的新时期入手,探讨都市报在我国现阶段报业发展中的特殊意义。都市报从诞生之日起就围绕着受众所关心的事情做文章,贴近他们的日常生活。因此以受众本位,在市场经济发展和我国城市化进程中逐渐形成,往往成为一个都市报取得不错收益,广受读者欢迎的关键要素。而新时期的受众群体更加复杂,再加上网络等新兴媒体的不断崛起,使得我们需要对受众的读报动机、兴趣、读报方式、满意度等方面做以具体分析,这样才能明确都市报办报的具体宗旨和定位。
