黄庄断裂(亦称黄庄-高丽营断裂或衙门口-北苑断裂)是北京地堑的西部边界断裂。它南起涿县,北至怀柔以东,呈北东方向延伸,全长110余公里。由于大部分被第四系掩盖,以往主要根据物探和钻探资料确定为一条中生代形成的高倾角、大断距的活动断裂。由于无断裂新活动的资料,人们往往只注意位于其西北侧一公里左右的八宝山断裂。其实,从地层分布和构造分析看,黄庄断裂的形成应晚于八宝山断裂,由于后者
The Huangzhuang fault (also known as Huangzhuang-Gaoligang fault or Yamenkou-Beiyuan fault) is the western boundary fault of the Beijing graben. It starts from Pixian County in the south, to the east of Huairou in the north, extending northeastward, with a total length of more than 110 kilometers. Since most of them were covered by the Quaternary system, they were mainly determined by the geophysical and drilling data to form a Mesozoic active fault with high dip angle and large fault interval. Due to the fact that there is no new information on the fracture, people often pay attention only to the Babaoshan fault located about one kilometer northwest of it.
