The isochron age of 2408Ma and Sm-Nd whole rocks was obtained from Cangshan metamorphic rocks in Xiaochangxia Village, Yangbai County, which confirmed the existence of early Paleoproterozoic basement rocks in Dangshanshan metamorphic belt and the possible presence of Late Archean crustal rocks
