This study was conducted to understand the aerobic and anaerobic abilities of various road athletes in the American Cycling Federation. After completing a set of maximum oxygen uptake and Wingate anaerobic tests with 38 road cyclists (32 males and 6 females), it was found that the level II male athletes, both in absolute terms and in relative terms, Is the highest. Respectively 6% and 10% higher than Grade III and IV athletes. These data were 4.98 ± 0.14 and 4.72 ± 0.15 and 4.54 ± 0.121 / min, respectively. Analysis showed that there was a significant difference (<0.05) between the grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅳ men cyclists, while the maximum oxygen uptake of female athletes (3.37 ± 0.13 / min) was significantly lower than that of men (P <0.05). Wingate anaerobic test showed that, Ⅱ-level male athletes also have the highest oxygen-free output. The maximum output power of the three was 13.86 ± 0.23, 13.55 ± 0.25 and 12.80 ± 0.41 W / kg respectively, and the average output power was 11.22 ± 0.18, 11.06 ± 0.15 and 10.40 ± 0.30 W / kg, respectively There was a significant difference between the average output power (P <0.05). The maximum and average output power values of female athletes were significantly lower than that of peer male athletes (P <0.05). However, considering the lean body mass difference between the sexes, the results of anaerobic power have non-sexous consistency. In addition, neither of the above-mentioned two types have any necessary connection between aerobic and anaerobic determination values. In short, Athletes with high aerobic, anaerobic output power characteristics. Accordingly, we believe that aerobic and anaerobic abilities may be important determinants of cyclists’ performance.
