在住宅、宿舍、办公楼等多层砖房的抗震设计中,一般以现有震害为经验,以抗震设计规范为标准,主要是对房屋的薄弱环节加强构造措施,而不进行强度验算。其因是,目前对多层砖房的强度验算方法与实际震害相差太大,尤其是顶层,相差可达2~4倍;其次计算方法是按单片墙进行,步骤太繁,使设计人员难以采用。由于上述原因,强度验算失去指导意义,这样在抗震设计中,尤其在抗震加固设计中,存在较大的盲目性,设计标准极不统
