我镇地处长江中下游平原与江南丘陵的过渡地带。有耕地24707.5亩,水面17000亩,山林29936亩,辖11个行政村和1个居委会,总人口19492人,是一个以粮油生产为主、农工商并重,多种经营全面发展的城郊镇。自1988年被定为国家级“燎原计划”示范镇以来,我们镇党委、政府个班人,把优先发展教育放在重中之重的工作地位,把发展经济与实施
My town is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Delta and the southern hills of the transition zone. There are 24707.5 mu of cultivated land, 17000 mu of water surface, 29,936 mu of mountain forest, jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, with a total population of 19492 people. It is a suburban town mainly with grain and oil production, equal emphasis on agriculture and industry and commerce, and diversified management in all aspects. Since it was designated as a model town of state-level “prairie fire plan” in 1988, our town party committees and government people have given priority to education in the most important work place, and have made economic development and implementation a reality
