在近代科学大规模东传过程中,西方科学小说也被翻译过来,并带动了国内科学小说的创作。而近代传入的西方科学成为晚清科学小说家进行翻译与创作的科学知识资源库。反过来,晚清科学小说翻译与创作又成为传播近代西方科学知识、科学思想的一个新途径。作为一种反映社会现实的文学体裁,晚清科学小说记载了近代中国学习西方科学的心路历程。
In the process of modern large-scale science eastward transmission, western science fiction has also been translated and led to the creation of domestic science fiction. The Western sciences introduced in modern times became the scientific knowledge resource base for the translation and creation of science fiction writers in the late Qing Dynasty. In turn, the translation and creation of scientific novels in the late Qing dynasty have become a new way of disseminating modern western scientific knowledge and science. As a literary genre that reflects the social reality, the late Qing science novels recorded the mentality of learning Chinese science in modern China.
