沙湖水产养殖场是70年代初在围垦吴县唯亭镇南侧原沙湖基础上建设起来的综合性养殖场。养殖水面2200余亩,其西部为1400亩的成鱼养殖湖泊,东部为800余亩的连片格子化池塘。共有大小不等的内塘180只,其中养殖水面为8亩的池塘24只,6~7亩池塘有56只,其余均为4亩以下鱼种池及各种试验用小池塘。(见图1) 20余年来,由于养殖过程中鱼类的排泄物和残饵的滞积以及塘埂泥剥蚀倒塌入池,导致鱼池日趋淤浅,大部份鱼池的淤泥层厚度在0.5米以上,个别池塘竟达0.8米以上。 鉴于含有大量腐植质的淤泥滞积于塘底,非但减少了池塘有效养殖水体,而且也增加了有机耗氧量,以致鱼病频发,捕鱼操作不便,抑制了塘鱼产量进一步提高。为了保持鱼池的良好生态环境,确保和提高渔场的总体经济效益,及时疏浚淤泥势在必行。
Shahu aquaculture farm is the early 70s in the reclamation Wuxian Wei Ting town on the basis of the original Shahu built on the basis of comprehensive farms. Breeding water surface more than 2,200 acres, its western 1400 acres of adult fish breeding lakes, east of more than 800 acres of contiguous grid of ponds. There are 180 inner ponds of varying sizes, of which 24 are ponds with 8 mu of aquaculture water, 56 are ponds of 6 ~ 7 mu, and the rest are all 4-acre fish ponds and various test ponds. (See Fig. 1) For more than 20 years, due to the lag of fish excrement and bait during aquaculture and the erosion of pond mud into the pond, the pond became increasingly shallow. Most silt layers have a thickness of 0.5 m Above, as many as 0.8 meters of individual ponds. In view of the sludgy of silt containing a large amount of humus at the bottom of the pond, it not only reduces the effective aquaculture water in ponds but also increases the organic oxygen consumption, resulting in frequent fish diseases and inconvenient fishing operations, which further inhibits the production of pond fish. In order to maintain a good ecological environment of fish ponds and ensure and improve the overall economic benefits of fisheries, timely dredging of silt is imperative.
