The Zhaokou gold deposit was produced during the mid-acid intrusive contact zone-Late Triassic Jurassic clastic rocks in the Yanshanian period and occurs in the NE trending ductile-brittle fracture zone. The ore bodies are vein-shaped. This deposit is analyzed from the geological characteristics of ore deposits, the geological conditions of mineralization and the geochemistry of the deposit. It is pointed out that the Late Triassic clastic rocks in the Jurassic group are the gold mineralized source rocks, and the Yanshanian magmatic intrusive rocks are gold The formation of the ore provides a source of heat and the tectonism provides access to the flow and migration of the gold-bearing hydrothermal solution. Gold mineralization and silicification, pyrite mineralization, brown iron mineralization are closely related. The genesis of the deposit is hydrothermal-structural alteration rock type gold deposit.
