近几年来,为提高轿车发动机的功率,广泛采用上置双凸轮轴、三或四气门和增压等措施。汽车发动机增压器,一般是采用废气涡轮增压器。机械式增压器的应用由来己久,本世纪前半期欧美就把机械式增压器安装在部分高级运动车上。这种机械式增压器由发动机曲轴直接驱动,其优点是功率输出大、加速响应性好,但还存在着增压器效率低、噪声大和使用寿命短的缺点。本文所介绍的新型罗茨增压器成功地解决了上述问题,下面将就其容积效率、动力损失、噪声的成因及改进效果作以介绍。
