几年前《中国统计》曾刊登了台湾学者谢邦昌先生的“统计的A—Z”一文,令人耳目一新。本期,我们选用了苏永明先生撰写的“统计人的A—Z”。如果说谢邦昌先生创造了一种认识统计学的方法和视角,那么,苏永明先生就是将这一方法和视角应用到了认识统计人和统计工作方面。他们的共同之处就是对统计的热爱。我们期盼热爱统计的人们创造更多的方法和视角,向社会全方位展示统计,营造良好的统计社会氛围,提升公众的统计素养。
A few years ago, “China Statistics” published a “Statistical A-Z” by Taiwan scholar Mr. Xie Bangchang. It is refreshing. In this issue, we selected “Statistical People’s A-Z” written by Mr. Su Yongming. If Mr. Xie Bangchang created a method and perspective of understanding statistics, then Mr. Su Yongming applied this method and perspective to understanding statisticians and statistics. What they all have in common is the love of statistics. We look forward to those who love statistics to create more ways and perspectives to show the society in all aspects of statistics, create a good social atmosphere for statistics and enhance the public’s statistical literacy.
