Preserved algae microfossils and large fossils have been found in various layers and locations of limestone-dominated rhythms in the Little Dal Group basin to the north of the Mackenzie Range. The microfacies paleontology group includes filamentous bodies such as Archaeobrichion, Jaeniatum and Siphonophycus, and spherical doubtful sources such as Kildirelka, Trachysphaeridium, Nucellosphaeridium and Chuaria circularis. It is likely that all of them are algal-related, and large fossils with huge carbonaceous ribbons have been identified as the new species of Jawuia dalensisn.g.n.sp, the genus Veudotaenid, and the irregular-shaped fossils, Moriana? Amiqua and Beltina danai. In the same layer also
