Based on the unified deployment of the Ministry of Health, the Liaoning Provincial Cancer Prevention and Control Office carried out a retrospective sample survey of the death causes of 1/10 of the population from 1990 to 1992 in Liaoning Province. The investigation is now reported as follows. Materials and Methods The malignant tumor death data from 1973 to 1975 and 1990 to 1992 were from the results of a sample survey of all causes of death in Liaoning Province, including Tiexi District of Shenyang City, Zhongshan District of Dalian City, Pingshan District of Benxi City, and Xiuyan County.
