本专利适用于黑色、有色冶金中烧结混合料(矿粉、精矿粉)的预热。在球团生产中,本专利也应用于任何水份的造球原料的预热。已有的混合料预热方法是靠热返矿的热量。然而,在采用热返矿预热的工厂里,混合料的温度在烧结前一般不超过55℃,所以不能保证完全排除水份的冷凝以及过湿带的形成。从理论上来讲,只有当混合料温度不低于80~82℃时,才不会出现水分冷凝而形成过湿带。除此以外,这种预热方法,一般来说劳动卫生条件都较差。
