1.广东荆桑夏季七月摘叶去顶(剉(艹远))供第四造蚕应用,摘叶去顶后呼吸作用蒸腾作用大受抑制,茎及传导根中积累柠檬酸、琥珀酸及延胡索酸,活动根生长受影响,部分变褐及萎凋,细胞分裂亦趋停顿。随后,传导根及茎部可溶性氮及可溶性糖增加,尤以天冬酰胺、谷氨酰胺及蔗糖为最,循树液向腋芽运送。因而摘叶去顶后一周间,桑树各部位的可溶性成份的组成基本上是一致的。2.腋芽萌发后2—4周间,桑叶渐趋成熟。叶子中的可溶性氮及有机酸渐次减少,可溶性糖不断增加,传导根的情况大致相同。但可溶性氮及可溶性糖均较叶子为高。活动根及嫩叶处于分化及生长阶段,则可溶性氮及有机酸较多,可溶性糖却较少。3.讨论了第四造摘叶去顶(剉(艹远))后7—14天后施以速效肥,并进行中耕除草,有利于桑树根系的生长及腋芽的萌发。
