网络技术的迅猛发展,为当代教育提供了更广阔、便捷的平台。其中,大型开放式网络课程(Massive Open Online Courses,MOOC)的产生和发展将这种网络平台支持下的新型教育推向高潮。教育部颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求》(2007)指出,大学阶段的英语教学应大量使用先进的信息技术,开发和建设各种基于计算机和网络的课程,为学生提供良好的语言学习环境与条件,使大学英语朝着个性化和自主学习的方向发展。在此要求的指导下,各高校纷纷加入网络平台支持下的自主学习热潮。本文以大学英语学习者为着眼点,分析、思考了国内大学英语学习的现状和问题,认为学习者自主学习能力的强与弱,是直接影响MOOC环境下学习效果的重要因素之一。使MOOC课程学习的效果最大化的根本方法之一需从学习者入手,提高自主学习意识,培养自主学习能力,掌握正确的自主学习策略和方法。
The rapid development of network technology provides a broader and convenient platform for contemporary education. Among them, the emergence and development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) culminated in a new type of education supported by such a network platform. The Teaching Requirements of College English Curriculum (2007) issued by the Ministry of Education pointed out that college English teaching should make extensive use of advanced information technology to develop and construct various courses based on computer and network to provide students with a good language learning environment and Conditions, so that college English toward personal and independent direction of development. Under the guidance of this requirement, all colleges and universities have joined the autonomous learning craze supported by the internet platform. In this paper, we focus on college English learners and analyze and think about the current situation and problems of college English learning in our country. We think that learners’ ability of autonomous learning is strong and weak, which is one of the important factors that directly affect the learning effect in MOOC environment. One of the fundamental ways to maximize the effectiveness of MOOC course learning is to start with the learner, raise the awareness of autonomous learning, develop the ability of independent learning, master the correct self-learning strategies and methods.
