1957年,内蒙古自治区党委第一书记、自治区政府主席乌兰夫同志根据内蒙古地区分散、文化生活缺乏的情况,在锡林郭勒盟苏尼特右旗文化馆、昭乌达盟翁牛特旗文化馆的基础上成立了乌兰牧骑,为分散的农牧民送歌献舞,宣传党的方针政策,深受广大人民的欢迎和喜爱。1964年6月29日,乌兰夫同志提出调—支乌兰牧骑赴北京参加全国少数民族群众业余艺术观摩演出。周总理在看过乌兰牧骑十二个人的专场汇报演出之后,对当时任文化局长的布赫同志激动地说“要把乌兰牧骑这把火在全国点燃起来。”党的十一届三中全会以后,1979年国家副主席乌兰夫同志观看直属乌兰牧骑艺术团演出,并与演员亲切交谈,了解乌兰牧骑的发展情况。
In 1957, Comrade Ulanhu, First Secretary of Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Chairman of Autonomous Region Government, founded on the basis of decentralized culture and lack of cultural life in Inner Mongolia, on the basis of the Sunit Right Banner Cultural Center and the Zhaowuda League Wengniute Banner Cultural Center in Xilin Gol League Wulanmu riding, singing and dancing for the scattered farmers and herdsmen, propaganda of the party’s principles and policies, welcomed by the majority of the people and love. On June 29, 1964, Comrade Ulanhu proposed to transfer the Ulan Muchin ride to Beijing to participate in the amateur art viewing activities of the ethnic minority people in the country. Premier Zhou Enlai, after reading the special report of the performance of Ulan Muchong’s twelve individuals, excitedly said to Comrade Buch, then-director of the Cultural Bureau, “It is time to fire the Ulan Mu animal in the country and light it up.” After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, Comrade Ulanhu, Vice Chairman of the State in 1979, watched the performance of the Ulan Muchu Art Troupe directly affiliated with the delegation and talked cordially with the actors to understand the development of Ulan Muchuang.
