1.引言如今环境问题已经引起了大多数加拿大人的关注。联邦、省、市等各级政府也采取了各种措施积极应对环境问题,这包括更加广泛地实施旨在保护自然环境的管理法案,以及对破坏环境的违法分子追究责任或进行相应的惩罚。因此,房地产的开发商和管理者对于土地占有或使用中可能产生的环保责任给予了越来越多的关注。这些责任包括:支付污染场地的恢复费用;配合刑事侦查与诉讼、民事调查以及遵守环境法规等。
1. Introduction Today’s environmental problems have drawn the attention of most Canadians. Various levels of government, including the federal, provincial and municipal governments, have also taken various measures to actively respond to environmental issues. These include more extensive implementation of management acts aimed at protecting the natural environment and accountability or punishment to those who violate the law. Therefore, developers and managers of real estate pay more and more attention to the potential environmental responsibility of land occupation or use. These responsibilities include: payment of restoration costs of contaminated sites; cooperation with criminal investigation and litigation, civil investigations and compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
