蟹爪兰用传统方法嫁接,成型周期长,从成活至开花少则2年,多则3～4年。为此笔者多年试验,终于找到一种嫁接新模式,可大大缩短生产周期,6～12个月即可培养成头径30～50厘米的成型株,且成活率高。现介绍如下: 传统嫁接多以1年生单片仙人掌做砧木,从顶端中心垂直进刀,接穗选取1年生具2节的蟹爪兰。而我则选2年生多片仙人掌做砧木,接穗选4～6节且分杈的大枝,一砧多穗,当年成型,当年开花上市。具体做法是: 1.砧穗选择清明前后,选2节或3节仙人掌做砧木,移栽上盆,擦净砧木上的泥土(图1)。选蟹爪兰4～6 Scallop Lancail grafting using traditional methods, forming a long cycle, from survival to flowering as little as 2 years, as many as 3 to 4 years.
