This book was published by Shanghai Education Press in December 2005. It sorts out the development of the theory of Chinese education in the past three decades. Wang Xiao-chun, a teacher at the Institute of Basic Education at Beijing Academy of Education and Science, linked up with the current situation of Chinese education in reading and elaborated his own understanding of Chinese education.
