同志们：首先,我受镕基同志委托,代表国务院,对全国会计工作会议的召开表示热烈祝贺,同时,向受到表彰的全国先进财会工作集体、全国先进会计工作者表示热烈的祝贺和崇高的敬意,并通过你们向工作在全国各条战线上的1200万财会人员表示诚挚的问候!全国会计工作会议是一次很重要的会议.这也是建国以来召开的第四次全国会计工作会议,会议全面总结了过去五年来会计工作情况,研究提出了今后一个时期会计改革与发展的总体目标,并对当前工作中存在的突出问题提出了解决措施.会议开得很好,仲藜同志、佑才同志在会上都做了很好的报告,我都同意,镕基同志要我来讲一讲,我想讲三个问题,一是当前的经济形势,二是新形势下会计工作的地位和基本任务,三是对会计工作提几点要求和希望.
