石灰岩地区水库普遍存在渗漏、坝内土洞、裂缝和局部沉陷等隐患.地质雷达是应用电磁波在传播过程中遇到电性界面会发生散射的原理,通过向地下发射高频电磁脉冲,并接收由地下反射回地面的回波信号来探测地下情况的一种高分辨率无损伤物探手段.通过多次试验,表明地质雷达对石灰岩地区水库多种隐患具有良好的探测效果,地质雷达的应用可避免病险水库治理的盲目性,提高治理效果,节约工程费用.
