以“妻的离去”为结局的中国民间幻想故事有着悠久的文本历史和稳定的结构传承,此类故事以异类婚配开始,以异类妻子离去告终,表现出女性从仙到兽的身分沉落及反抗心态。它们不仅叙说了婚俗转型过程中的夫妻纠葛,而且透露了中国人对待自然和无意识的隐秘心态。因此,“离去型”故事不仅构成了中国民间故事的一种特殊类型,更具有独特的文化原型意义。
