The impact resistance of a material or structure is an important functional indicator and a prime indicator of the quality of its process. Although traditional impact tests reveal a lot of impact and breakage information, a new impact tester developed by Rosand Precision Instruments of the United Kingdom recently described the breaking of materials or structures in seconds.
