我父亲是油画、水粉画家。我从很小就看父亲作画。上世纪的中国,拥有自己画室的画家是不多的,在从前的许多年里,父亲的画架常常随意支在家中的某个角落。我在油画颜料清苦的气味中看父亲怎样把空白的画布铺满颜色。在文化萧条的年代,父亲的油画大都背朝外靠在墙角,而水粉、水彩则被平铺在褥子底下。至今我还记得,当有人前来看画时,母亲是怎样协助父亲掀开厚厚的褥
My father is oil painting, gouache painter. I grew up to see my father painting. In the last century in China, there were not many painters who owned their own studio.
