The USSR sand zone extends 1,500 km from south to north and reaches 48 to 52 degrees north latitude, including the Republics of Central Asia, Kazakhstan and the Lower Volga of the Russian Federation. In this vast area of different climatic conditions, there is an essential difference between the design and construction of a highway when the runoff is similar in its exterior. The fluvial sand areas of the Federated States of Accession to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Socialist Federal Republic of Russia belong to the northern part of the Soviet Union where the sand is distributed.
