橡皮树单叶无生长点、无芽点,在常规条件下扦插,是不会再生出幼芽成为新株的。但这些单叶却能生根并存活相当一段时间。如利用这个特点将一些已成废料的叶子按一定造型,组合于盆中,仍可有280~450天的观赏期,而且这期间不会变形。尤以斑叶种及小叶种的组合更为美观。组合后在家庭阳台、室内点缀或作花坛边缘材料,都效果良好。具体做法如下: 1.选叶:选择有叶柄而无老黄、病黄斑痕疵点及机械损伤等缺陷的全叶,作为扦插材料。叶柄长的愈合 Eucalyptus leaves no growth point, no buds, cuttings under normal conditions, will not regenerate buds become a new strain.
