Reuters, Beijing, April 8, 2002 (Xinhuanet) - On Monday, the state news agency said China is considering making laws that apply biotechnology to agricultural products to protect the environment and the health of its people. State-owned news agency Xinhua said the law will provide for regular biotechnology testing to reduce ecological damage. And will require the risk of mass-produced GM foods
