A pregnane glycoside and a lignan glycoside were isolated from the aerial parts of Rubus amabilis.Their structures were elucidated as 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3β,15a-dihydroxypregn-5-en-20-one and (-)-secoisolariciresinol-O-a-L-rhamnopyranoside using spectro-scopic and chemical methods.
