青萝卜品质优良,具有保健作用,是城阳区蔬菜生产中一个主栽品种,过去一直用作秋季栽培。近几年,随着反季节蔬菜的发展和人们生活的需要,春夏季栽培青萝卜的面积日益扩大,不但增加了城市蔬菜供应的花色品种,而且经济效益也相当可观。城阳区以上马镇为代表的青萝卜夏季栽培,从1996年开始发展,到2000年全镇栽培面积达200hm~2以上,其中仅李仙庄村面积即达100hm~2以上。青萝卜夏季栽培生长期短,仅65天左右,一般666.7m~2(亩)产量为2500～3000kg,市场批发价在1.60元/kg左右。一茬露地青萝卜666.7m~2收
