英语和中国的语文一样,需要学生从单词、句子入手,再去分析整体段落和文章。分段学习虽然简单,但不能从整体上培养学生的语感,不能让学生更好地理解和掌握整篇文章。因此,英语应该从整体上进行教学,培育学生的英语素养。一、整体教学法的理解将英语语言看成一个整体,不是像过去那样,老师只向学生解释一些分散的句型、语法。整体教学法能帮助学生独立、自主地学习,与此同时也能提升学生的读、写、听、说、译的技能。
English, like Chinese, requires students to start with words and sentences and analyze the whole passage and article. Staged learning, though simple, does not foster students’ sense of language as a whole, and does not allow students to better understand and master the entire article. Therefore, English should be taught as a whole, cultivate students’ English literacy. First, the overall teaching method to understand English language as a whole, not as in the past, the teacher only to explain to students some scattered sentence, grammar. The holistic pedagogy helps students to learn independently and autonomously, and at the same time enhances their reading, writing, listening, speaking and translating skills.
