20世纪六七十年代,历史哲学领域发生了重大转向——叙事主义转向。海登·怀特是这一转向中的代表人物,他将历史文本作为研究对象,探讨了历史与文学之间的深层联系。叙事主义的历史哲学注重历史的叙事功能,即赋予文本以统一性和融贯性,从而使研究对象得以解释并被赋予意义。本文着重探讨海登·怀特历史哲学独特的叙事主义品质,以此彰显其后现代主义史学的特色。
In the 1960s and 1970s, a major shift took place in the field of historical philosophy - the turning of narrativeism. Hayden White is the representative of this shift, he will be the historical text as the research object, exploring the deep relationship between history and literature. The historical philosophy of narratism pays attention to the narrative function of history, that is to give the text unity and coherence so that the subjects of study can be explained and given meaning. This article focuses on Hayden White’s historical philosophy unique narrative quality, in order to highlight the characteristics of its postmodernist historiography.
