In traditional translation theory, “mistranslation ” is often used only to determine the translator ’s linguistic ability, or to reveal the translator ’ s “failure ” infidelity. However, in recent years, with the continuous development of translation studies, people review the “mistranslation” in the history of translation, but find out that these seemingly “unsuccessful” language conversions are often loaded with special cultures The translator of the mission’s reconstruction of the text “afterlife” is a rewriting behavior with historical timeliness. This article takes the translation of Anglo-American literature for the past seventeen years after the founding of our nation as the object of study, and reveals the collision, distortion and distortion of Chinese and Western cultures implied by “mistranslation ” in a specific historical period by comparing with the new versions since the new period The constant revision of “mistranslation ” since the period reflects the more confident and tolerant cultural temperament of China in the face of complex changes in the face of her / other.
