世纪是一个自然的时间的概念,本与人为的文学没有什么直接的关系。但是,根据文学史的通例,也可以以这个时间概念来标志文学的发展和转变,区分一个相对独立的文学历史时段。从这个意义上说,作为一个文学时段的标志,“新世纪文学”又不仅仅是一个时间的概念,而是同时也伴随有一种文学新质的发生。因此,“新世纪文学的起点”,就不应该是一个新的世纪的时间的起点,而应该是它的新质开始发生的时间。
The concept of a century is a natural time, and this man has nothing to do with the direct relationship between the literature. However, according to the general history of literary history, the concept of time can also be used to mark the development and transformation of literature and to distinguish a relatively independent period of literary history. In this sense, as a sign of literary period, “New Century Literature” is not just a concept of time, but also accompanied by a new genre of literature. Therefore, “the starting point of new century literature” should not be the beginning of a new century’s time, but rather the time when its new quality begins to take place.
