中国近七八年来的出版界比从前已算是有生有气,但是关于社会科学的书籍,新近的出版品大半仍是译本及小册子之类,大本的创作,仍不多见;即偶有一二卷帙较繁的著作亦不过是草草地摭述几个欧美或日本学者的唾余,东涂西抹而成的书;真有价值,真有贡献的著作真是“凤毛麟角”。因此,王世杰氏的《比较宪法》,特别的值得我们的重视。说来真正惭愧,关于国法宪法一类的书,中国从前出版的书籍不是似通非通的译本(像柏哲斯的《政治学及比较宪法论》之类),便是毫没精采的,表面上
