为了考察国外空气重介质分选技术,1986年初由河南省煤炭厅,中国矿业学院和新密矿务局组成的代表团,赴加拿大和美国进行了考察。主要考察了位于爱德蒙顿附近迪旺的加拿大能源研究中心,访问了西安大略大学贝克曼教授,并参观了他的实验室。在美国考察了匹兹堡能源研究中心。现将加拿大和美国的研究情况概述如下: 加拿大流态化专家贝克曼教授最早研究和发明了用于选煤的流态化床层,1975年后在加拿大、美国、英国都取得了专利权,专利权属于西安大略大学。
