最近,在机械工业中出现了一种多品种小批量的生产系统—柔性生产系统(Flexible-Manufacturing System 简称FMS)。它是一个基本由计算机控制的数控机床群和自动搬运装置而构成的生产系统。当前,日本通商产业省工业技术院正在进行一项大型工业技术研究—应用激光的柔性复合生产系统(Flexible Marufacturing SystemComplex Provided With Laser简称FMC)。本文将对FMC计划的概况,尤其是在加工、装配技术方面迄今所取得的成果加以介绍。
Recently, a multi-species, small batch production system, the Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS), has emerged in the machinery industry. It is a production system consisting of a basic computer controlled group of CNC machine tools and automatic handling equipment. Currently, Japan’s MITI is carrying out a large-scale industrial technology research project, the Flexible Marufacturing System Complex With Provided Laser (FMC). This article will provide an overview of the FMC program, in particular, the results achieved to date in terms of processing and assembly technology.
